In Memory of Alex Macdonald

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of our dear friend and former colleague, Alex Macdonald, who retired from financial advising in April 2024. Alex passed away peacefully on 13th August 2025, surrounded by his family, after a long period of ill health.

Alex was not only an exceptional financial adviser, but also a cherished member of our team at GDA Financial Partners. His dedication, warmth, and integrity touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His funeral will take place on 10th September 2025, and while the family has requested no flowers, they have kindly set up a JustGiving page in support of the Mid and South Essex Renal Unit, a cause close to their hearts.
